PROJECT YANTRIKTA

OUR STORY

It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Yantrikta is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With active projects at 7 different government schools, Yantrikta was born out of a deep desire to empower underprivileged youth in India, by providing them with an opportunity to explore the fascinating world of robotics.
It all began in the spring of 2023 when our founder piloted the program at Ramagondanahalli Government School. This pilot aimed to introduce basic middle-school level robotics, focusing on designing, constructing, and operating simple robots using LEGO EV3 components. In addition to practical skills, the program also incorporated theoretical concepts.

Following the completion of the pilot program, we embarked on a reflection stage to evaluate its impact and gather valuable insights. Encouraged by the positive response and the students' thirst for STEM, our vision for Yantrikta expanded.

We are driven by the belief that every child deserves access to educational opportunities that nurture their talents and aspirations. Through our experiences within the local community, we have become acutely aware of the needs and challenges faced by underprivileged youth. We are committed to sharing our knowledge and expertise in robotics with those who may not have had the privilege of such exposure.

Join us on this journey as we strive to create a brighter future for these young individuals, igniting their passion for STEM, and equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly advancing world. Together, we can inspire innovation, bridge gaps, and empower the next generation of problem solvers.
OUR FOUNDER
Introducing the founder of Yantrikta, Aditya Narayan, a high-school junior at Inventure Academy. With a strong belief in the power of robotics and STEM education, Aditya established Yantrikta to motivate and inspire young minds to pursue careers in these fields.

Recognizing the lack of access to robotics equipment and parts that hindered the growth of talented individuals, Aditya took the initiative to provide a solution. By establishing Project Yantrikta, he ensures that underprivileged youth are not held back by resource limitations. Through this program, Aditya enables them to explore the world of robotics, fostering their creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities. Aditya's commitment to community outreach and mentorship is evident in his involvement with programs such as the English Reading Buddy Program and the StudyBuddy program. These experiences allowed him to make a positive impact on underprivileged children's lives, fostering their English proficiency and academic growth. Notably, Aditya was part of the team that achieved third place in programming at the First Lego League Open International in Lebanon, showcasing his talent and dedication to robotics. Motivated by the joy of discovery, and the ability to tinker with code and machines, Aditya is driven to share these experiences with those who lack the same resources.

Beyond his passion for robotics, Aditya actively engages in Model UN, student government, has authored his own poem anthology, immerses himself in theater, and delves into the fascinating world of data analytics. He is particularly interested in the intersection of technology with policy, using tech to level the playing field for all.

Aditya's leadership, empathy, and commitment to leveling the playing field are the guiding principles of Yantrikta.
