Our recent visit to the Seegehalli district was all about nuts and bolts, quite literally. We rolled up our sleeves and got down to business (after a quick cup of coffee first of course!) to explore the practicalities of launching Project Yantrikta in this promising location.
In the Field:
Accompanied by Mr. Sampath Ramanujam, we visited the schools where our program is set to begin in the first week of September. The focus was on nailing down the specifics, and we left no stone unturned.
Classroom Size and Facilities:
One of our primary concerns was classroom size. We needed to ensure that the spaces were adequate to accommodate our hands-on robotics sessions. We also checked for the presence of charging ports and suitable cables to power our equipment. These practical aspects are essential for our program's success.
Scheduling Sessions:
As we aim to conduct the sessions on Saturdays, we had to coordinate with the schools to ensure that this timing aligned with their schedules. This was crucial to make the program as accessible as possible to the students.
Mentors on Site:
This visit also marked a significant moment for our mentors. It was their first time setting foot on the campus, ready to get their hands dirty after being hired. Their dedication and enthusiasm were palpable, and we're excited to see them in action.
Next Steps:
With logistics in check and mentors eager to make a difference, we're now gearing up to bring the world of robotics and STEM to the Seegehalli district. Keep an eye on our website for further updates on our progress, as we take the next steps in creating a brighter future for the youth in this region.
